Founded in 1847, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) is
a leading institution with a world-wide membership of over 75,000
engineers. Operating under Royal Charter, the role of the
Institution is to educate, train and professionally develop mechanical
engineers. Members work in research, design, development,
manufacturing, installation, commissioning, contracting, consulting and
teaching, in fields as diverse as lubrication, satellite launching,

The Consultants Group represent the interests of Consultants within
the IMechE, to provide guidance and support. In addition to training
