The Institute of Business Consulting is the professional body for all
business consultants. Designed to raise standards of professional
practice in support of better business performance, the Institute
provides a development path for the profession, supported by high
quality resources and a recognised qualification route which includes
the Certified Management Consultant award. Formed in April 2007 by the
merger of the Institute of Business Advisers and the Institute of
Management Consultancy, the Institute encompasses the entire profession
of business consultants within a membership touching on all areas of the
UK economy. Our membership consists of just under 7,000 individual
members and 150 corporate members, ranging from sole-practitioners to
large organisations.

service, selecting appropriately from a comprehensive list of consulting
practices, whose skills and sector experience cover the whole range of
consultancy. We will select practices that are uniquely qualified to
