The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is the
world's leading authority on management accounting. It has 150,000
members and student worldwide. The membership has expertise in areas
such as activity based costing, process costing, benchmarking and
process re-engineering. There are 1,200 registered members in practice
in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, who specialise
in a multiplicity of areas ranging from taxation to specific
industry systems.
CIMA Consultants register
Annual registration is required with the Institute and members with
Practising Certificates may chose to have their details on the
register on the Institute website (http://www.cimaglobal.com/).
Membership
Members must have PII cover (CIMA recommended or other), must meet
CPD criteria and are required to have continuity agreement and relevant
experience. The are subject to a professional Code of Ethics.
